Access requests must be submitted by the heads of applicant organisations to Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

The above requests do NOT apply to higher education institutions, research institutes, nor institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN).
In their requests, heads appoint administrators who will be the first to receive access to the system. Administrators create accounts for and assign roles to other staff members.
Organisations can also designate coordinators who support their activity in POL‑on.
